thank you!
well, the kapitän needs some improvements as it was, like my corolla, just a display-car. the wheels are indeed reversed but the bolt-pattern is 5x120 mm , same as BMW and i am thinking of BMW E39 steelies in 15". colour will change for sure, i'm thinking for a matte dark grey with a metal-flake roof, dark-gold or copper...something like this. the good thing is that the car is already customized so i don't mess up a good one.

just after i made the last post i went to the local pub next to my house. one of the neughbours offered me his old fiat and a lada for free cause he want to clear his barn. he told me that it was a samara (which i was not so exited about) and a fiat uno. which i also was not really excited about... but anyway, it`s only a 5-minute-walk from my home and... not an uno. what you see in the background is 2 austin 1100 GT- which he want to keep and restore some day. well, he`ll better start...he is 83 and the cars are sitting there since the early eighties... anyone want a samara? for free?

and just something less exciting: my shop. rekord gets a new fuel pump and valvecover gasket. the little somca is just waiting for a new less-smoky engine... www.facebook.com/hell.cat.5682/videos/10205982322353781/ www.facebook.com/hell.cat.5682/videos/10205982322353781/ some more infos to the rekord.
www.facebook.com/hell.cat.5682/videos/10205982322353781/it is a 1982 rekord 2.3 D delivery van, usually they have no windows. only 211 were sold with rear windows. this one is all original with 45211 kms on the clock, got it from the original owner. it has even the factory proofmarks on the suspension, note the yellow paint and the end-control number R 306 on the chassis: i think about selling it. has new MOT here and is a good runner, actually TOO good for me. the little simca also is in pretty good original condition but the engine is done. car has no ol-filter and oil changes are notoriously overrated here...

ittle fiat hit the sunshine for the first time in 27 years today...and i DOVE it out... just put a battery in, connected the fuel pump to an auxillary fuel tank (AKA water bottle) and it startet after 20 seconds... brakes are dead, a lot of surface rust but no major holes... far away from being a parts-car... will be towed to my shop this weekend. more pictures then!

Nice score on the Fiat. Becoming quite collectable now as they were very popular but almost all rotted away.
