I could be interested in any Hillman Hunter/Rootes Arrow bits I'm thinking retro riders 'beer n barbecue' parts sorting weekender. ^ This looks like the top suggestion so far Love the idea but I'm a bit too far "Oop North" to help out Ask your local car spares places what they do with old stock - the ones around my way have old stock going back to the 70s, they also have contact numbers for local traders/dealers who will turn up and take stuff they want to clear out (an easy way to get rid - but you get very little for it) Autojumble? Ebay? RRG tat auction "lucky dip" stock? Start a "what is this bit" thread on here for any particular parts you want to identify? Good luck!

With things like this, i hate to see someone not getting the moneys worth out of stuff! I would be looking around to see what people are looking out for, and if you've catalogued everything and find you have the parts, get it on whatever site you choose and get the money for it! It may take more time and effort, but would be worth it in the end!
When i first read this thread, the 2 shows closest to me that i attend sprung to mind as they have autojumbles as well so i would be looking to attend one a month if you can! Even to browse to get a feel for prices.

Or if you can't be bothered and just want it gone then phone up Howard who runs Collectors car parts in Ethan, Surrey He isn't far away and although he won't give you top money he will take the lot off you I would have thought - or put you in touch with some who will as he helps the the British autojumblers association. Now you've got the full range of options, let us know what you go for!

okay many thanks for all your replies it has really helped me think about it... as soon as the weather improves I can can start to bring the parts outside and I would be a good idea to sort them out... Theres some nice things hidden in there I know theres even a trunk with about 500 Dinky and Corgi models boxed and unboxed from the 60's in one of the Sheds ....
I will keep the thread going and any enquires feel free to pm me
