I went on holiday to Dallas Texas, I rented a new mustang V8 5.0 GT and drove around 1,200 miles around out into the Country But your all here for the retro stuff! I went to a swap meet out in the country. Lots and lots of very cool rides. Heres 300+ photos of the swap meet - www.flickr.com/photos/caprijake/albums/72157679209556220Also went to AutoRama car show at a local venue. CRAZY clean retro cars. 200+ photos - www.flickr.com/photos/caprijake/albums/72157677077897813Edit, I'm not sure why but Flickr always rearranges my photos when i upload from my phone, so multiple pictures of a car are in random orders, which sucks a bit.

Oh wow, you're in Restodan country there! I recognise the transporter from his most recent video at the Decatur swap meet which I guess is where you must have been. Here's his Youtube channel, home of Dinosaur Towing and a whole heap of neat stuff: www.youtube.com/user/restodan

It was part of my research in the UK before heading out. Been a few years since he did a Decatur video. I took photos of all the cars he looked at, those were all at the start of the meet from the car park end. The videos he does/ my photos don't really give you a scale of how big this place is. I could have spend some real $$$ there. The ramp truck was awesome, would love to build/have one of those myself.

I could NOT be arsed maintaining a car to those standards! LOL Tell me about it, some of them were so clean and detailed. Chrome on all the trim/underside and every inch was hand finished with etchings and drawings. The car park next to the exhibition halls were filled with trucks and enclosed trailers for them, they will never drive down the road!

Album links are in the top post. Didn't want to overload the forum and potentially crash it with so much awesome ! We can always take a bit more awesome, if you wanna pick out some more of your favourites Here we go Sir, ive had a sleep and recovered now so had a good look through again. Some of my Pics Thought this was cool, Porsche spoiler. Wasn't able to see what engine it had didn't mention it just 'RUNS GOOD' $4,800 Big old Tunnel ram, for the Capri V8 project I'm planning down the line. I loved this Ecoline, never seen a pickup one before. My friends though i was crazy as a practially ran over to it. Had a chat with the guy in the background selling this. He had another 4 so didn't need this one anymore .... Told me he would chop it in half so i could get it into a container, he had friends who did a season in Europe in one, chopped it and welded it backup in Europe and then did 200mph the next day ..... Would love a set of these in the garden. Genuinely almost bought this for $1,400 would have parked it up in a friends land until i could find a place for it at home. These seemed cheap to me, maybe too cheap as they were sold 3 hours into the 3 day Swap meet Not for sale .... Well Maybe .... A Cart you can drag .... Get it? What the hell was a Frog eye sprite doing here? Well part of it. BIG RIG! Practise your Mouth to Mouth anyone?
