Not a show I've been to but it was recommended to me recently, looks like it will be worth a trip if anyone has some free time.
It's organised by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts but is open to all.
Location is about 40 miles North of Carlisle
Info from their website www.sre-scot.co.uk/2017_Moffat_Rally.html
Moffat Classic Car Rally 24th and 25th June 2017
The fun kicks off with a road run (which 300 cars can participate in) to St. Mary's Loch, with the first cars leaving the town centre at midday in 15 minute intervals in groups of 60.
There will be a picnic stop at the Loch and the route will also take in Megget and Talla reservoirs. Motor bikes are a welcome part of the Moffat Classic Car Rally.
The Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat. It appeals to enthusiasts, the businesses in the town and to the public that visit.
Directions :
Leave the M74 motorway at Junction 15 and follow the A701 to Moffat.
If travelling from further south, the M6 from Birmingham & Manchester meets the M74 just north of Carlisle.
Life is a bit hectic for me for the next couple of months but I'm planning a trip there if I can.
