Someone on Oz-bay is selling a full set of doors for a sigma wagon for peanuts, I would love to have em!!! cgi.ebay.com.au/Mitsubishi-Sigma-GJ-RH-Front-Door-Stationwagon-Complete_W0QQitemZ180151127866Ad says he won't ship them though. I presume they could get lashed onto a pallet and shipped internationally, does anyone have any experience of this sort of carry-on? I know this won't be cheap, but could be a goer in view of the scarcity of these bits. Any tips? I am going to contact a few shipping companies on monday, see how much shipping an 80kg pallet by sea from oz - UK would cost.

I've sent smaller parts to Australia before without too much trouble and a lad from another forum very nearly bought a car off me to export to Aus and it was suprisngly cheap to do so. I have a contact over there who's after me sending more stuff to him, I'll ask if he knows of a decent shipping company if you like and see if he could set something up? If he's cool with that I'll pass his e-mail addy over to you if you like? Pm me later to remind me and I'll try and get hold of him and sound him out.

spend another $300 or so and you could get a complete sigma, their worth nothign over here, chuck the doors inside as spares and get a company to take the whole car over.

Well thatd be great, but then I'll have spent over £1000 on shipping just to have a set of doors, plus the import tax etc for another car! that I don't need or want!!!!

xbo11ox, I got a quote of about £750 to export a car there if it was driven onto a ship as opposed to being put into a container, I'll need to try and remember who that was with though. I've just pm'd you again because my contact over there is happy and willing to help and has said it's ok to pass on his e-mail addy, which I've done.
