Any Royal Mail mechanics on here? I need to change the thermostat on a Maxus tomorrow with the 2.5 VM CRD engine, it looks like the best way to do it is going to be to remove the engine mount and pull the engine forwards a bit to gain access. Anyone done it? I just tried to find an interesting one but failed miserably, so have a battered Royal Mail one instead:  |

Done. In case anyone's wondering, it's doable without taking off the engine mount, just remove the battery for better access. It's a bit of a curse word, especially having to scrape off the old gasket using a mirror because you can't see anything!

The engine of mine ldv maxus doesn't get hot. Where is the thermostat? Under the battery?
