(OK not strictly retro) Used to look like this; Performance: 0-60mph 3.2 secs Top speed 204mph £145K to worthless in seconds. Now looks like this; 570S smashMight need a few tins of Isopon? Rumours that the car was being piloted by Mr Bean appear have yet to be confirmed, (although I have only just started them). Thankfully no-one seriously hurt!

Is it wrong of me to say that I kind of want to see just how the hell they managed to screw up THAT badly?

Money is no substitute for driving talent it would seem, they did well to walk away though, wonder how it happened, dead early in the morning too.

Which manufacturer was it that was insisting purchasers went on a driving course before they were let loose with the car? Looks like Maclaren could take a leaf out of their book!

My neighbour has one of these, I don't think it likes running at low revs, well that's the impression I get from when it's fired up and launched down the road.

Is that a telegraph pole on top of the heap as well, so gone through a pole a porch and probably a garden wall to get there and then burst into flames and they got out I would say get the lotto on but as they USED have a McLaren they probably don't need the money

How does this work then? Having never bought a new car, I'm assuming this is on tick. I also assume its got fully comp insurance. In a situation where its your fault and you wright it off, does the insurance pay off your debt? Or are you stuck paying finance on the smoldering heap?

This is why you need GAP insurance, it should cover the difference between payout and what you owe
