I am selling my Mk 1 Mazda Eunos Turbo , which has been totally faultless in the last 3 years that I've owned it. The car is a 1993 K reg Mk1 1.6 Eunos in black and has only had 4 previous owners. It has MOT until 18th February 2018 and comes will all previous MOTs since being imported. The Bodywork is rust free and it has been undersealed since arriving in the UK, hence it is in far better condition that many Mk1 s that appear for sale. The paint is a little thin on some areas of the bonnet and there are a couple of dents and a blemish on the nearside rear wing where a decal was placed. It still looks fantastic as you can see from the photos!
The turbo conversion has been done properly with no expense spared using new parts from Track Dog Racing in the USA. This is not a "homebrew" effort using scrapyard parts , it is a thoroughly well sorted conversion , which is why it has proved so reliable. The car has covered 130, 000 kms (ie 81,000 miles)
Briefly the spec of the engine is as follows:
1.6 longnose crank engine with 81,000 miles with Garrett Turbo that spools really quickly with very little lag
Custom manifold and downpipe
Performance Engine Mounts
Uprated SPEC Stage 2 ceramic clutch
Mega Squirt ECU with 2 switchable custom maps
Yellow RX8 injectors
Bailey Dump Valve
Wideband o2 sensor with AEM airflow meter
Pro-sport Boost Gauge
Silicone Hoses
Track Dog Racing Aluminium large core radiator
Intercooler
This set up produced around 214 BHP on the Rolling Road ( Print Out available)
The car has adjustable Meister R Coilover shocks and springs which have covered less than 100 miles ( Yes less than 100 miles!) and a full 4 wheel alignment and corner weighting was done at the same time at Roddisons Motorsport ( receipt for over £1000 available). The car is also fitted with BSP front subframe brace for additional stiffness. Wheels are nearly new lightweight Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 shod with 195/50/15 Nankang NS2R tyres ( fantastic road legal track day tyre). The power steering has been removed to give the steering a more "direct" feel and the benefits of this can really be felt the faster you go! Brakes are Mk2 1.8 with yellowstuff pads.
The interior is pretty much standard apart from additional gauges and a snap off Nardi steering wheel. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or significant wear. The soft top roof is also in tremendous condition.
I have used the Eunos for road activities only and it has not seen a track during my ownership. Having said that, I'm sure it would be a fantastic track tool for anyone wishing to use it for that purpose.
I'm looking for £4600 ono
Any questions , please contact 07861 996703
Cheers
