I'm in the market for a new helmet, as my old one is scratched to hell. I don't want another standard helmet, as they're a pain (flip up, see where I need to weld, flip down, press trigger, weld the wrong bit, swear ) So any recommendations for light reactive helmets?

Depends on budget but I have a Lincoln Viking 3350 which is superb.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you can stretch to it get a Speedglas helmet.
Mine is now over 20 years old (duck that makes me feel old in itself!) and it still works perfectly.
But well, buy once!
