Warning! Leave to qualified personnel.
Sorry,none about. Just me.
Removing the A/C system from an Opel Tigra A. It doesn't appear to have much pressure but I want to do it sort of properly. I can't move the car to any type of 'professional' workshop. Any good ideas?
Cheers

If you mean that you want to prevent the refrigerant escaping, then you pretty much need the proper equipment to vacuum the system out. If the refrigerant has already escaped, then just unbolt everything.

There are mobile A/C companies that could come to you and remove the refrigerant.

Thanks for the answers fellas. Yes, it's about the refrigerant escaping. I was going to unbolt everything last night but I've never dealt with A/C before so I thought it better to ask.
There's some warning about not having a fag while you're doing it either.

I'm pretty sure your car has a hole in the pipework already, and all the gas has already leaked out, right? ;o) ;o) ;o)
LOL Seriously though... Get a mobile AC company out to it when they are passing from another job (tell them it's a "no rush" and explain) and bung them a few quid to vac it all out.

I'm now fully informed by the 'experts!' Thanks again. Never seen those mobile A/C blokes here in D. I'm off to tackle it now with a B&H hanging out of my mouth.

Push it outside and bolt cutter through a pipe then go do something else for a bit.
