My 205 seems to love throwing a few problems out there!
My gearshift is abnormally stiff for some reason or other.
What could cause this?!
I have some gear oil to put in but could somebody out there tell me where the orrifice is to fill it up?! I’ve no doubt it is somewhere nigh on impossible to get to!!!
If anyone could inform me that would be great...

Check the pivot on the bottom of the gearstick. The bolt often corrodes in, & needs taking out & cleaning/greasing.

no, it's inside a rubber cover which is accessible from inside, you'll need to remove the gearstick suttopund then you'll see a metal plate with a series of nuts on captive studs.
typically as its covered by the rubber thingy though these actually wear out not seize up.
the most common issue is the quadrant on the subframe, people take them apart and forget or don't realise that the thicker washer is necessary to stop the thinner washer being deformed against the hole in the post.
whilst youre under there make sure the 13mm nut inside the subframe on the ball pivot is tight and the R clip is in place on the larger rod part of the mechanism.
