Mine are:
Granada - Fixing the last two gauges on the dash cluster to work (reliably) - Getting the car appraised - Making cubbies for the side of the rear seat base that is a little too narrow for the space available - Enjoying the car by driving and visiting some meetings!!! Hopefully with my boy... - Relocating it to the new home (which will subsequently probably mean a lot less meetings will be attended from that point on)
Transit - Enjoying the daily in moving house and visiting France again for the summer...

I'm going to write this down purely to laugh at next year. Finish red beetle and sell Finish last few tiny bits on b reg gti and sell Weld and paint the mk2 gl and sell Get the wifes mini welded painted and on the road for summer Fastback ready for the nec show (rolling shell)
Anybody got a few extra days I can borrow? Realistically can see 3 or 4 being done, but I might stall the easiest one - finishing of the gti as I like driving it. What she doesnt know...

I've scratched the V8 and the Subaru's burble itch. They both gave me a headache. I hear a presumably modern German V10 thing thunder by my house... wonder how long that would take to be sick of? Only one way to find out😼 Deed done. Probs the only NY resolution I've stuck by... Too new for here but German thunder isn't a bad way way to start 2018 😸

Buy a stupid luxury car (may be a 'modern' (sorry)) So what is it that a older car can't do that a modern one can? Are you doing a sister site - ordinary-rides.org or normal-rides.org?

It's a lust of mine as well - a gad-damn-BARGE, The amount of car you get for 2k is utterly bonkers.
Find one that isn't wider than 67 inches and i'm there.

Like Monkfish's CL500. Cripes a 30k+ when new. We all like our old school puddleducks but heated/cooling/massage seats 😻

My car related new years resolutions are to get the garage & workshop sorted, finish the 106 and then get on with actively saving and looking for my next classic/modern classic.
So far its not going to plan as the demolition of the flood damaged garage/workshop isn't going to the planned timescale and the 106 cant really be sorted (also flood damaged) till I get the new garage/workshop erected.

Been out for jollies this weekend in my glorious old fodder. There was no destination, just a journey. Much fun was to be had. I'll be travelling from Yorkshire to Leicestershire in the morning for work (payed mileage no company car) and jumping in a modern thing with adaptive cruise and emergency brake assist etc... Modern things aren't evil... We don't get up to turn our 3 TV channels over any more 😸
Anywoos back to your 2018's resolutions...

If it can be fixed with a hammer, then it must be an electrical fault
