Body swap road tax rate what would it be.

Now with the new rules about Modified cars and car tax rates.If you do build a body swap and you use a diesel truck that has a chassis what tax rate will it be.I thought it will be at the rate as the Donor chassis.But I'm sure i read on the DVLA site somewhere it can be up to a £1000 to tax it.I want to check for i start thinking of doing another body swap.Thanks

You will pay the same rate as the donor vehicle because that's what it still is. If the donor vehicle rates change so will yours.

I've had a quick look but what are these NEW rules?
The upto £1000 to tax it is for NEW vehicles so yours will be taxed and tested as a 2004 car is that's what its registered as being modified doesn't have anything to do with tax rate unless its registered as over 40 years old.
