Eunos, Mazda’s “premium” brand. Didn’t some of these come with a 20B?

So it arrived, with a boot full of useful MOT type parts, like brake discs and pads, obligatory JDM Cosmo logo mats
And now its in the unit, and the work starts. No MOT for 3 years, sat outside on wet grass you'd expect the worst, but its largely spotless.
Only MOT work I can see is a leaking rear shock (1 of 4!) and a couple of slightly corroded brake pipes. Strange car, looking at the suspension its got absolutely zero sporting intentions, but has a twin turbo, twin rotor engine..... Or if you're really lucky you could get a 3 rotor 20b. I mean, what cars other than Baja racers have twin shocks?! Anyway a bit of shopping and Ive secured a set of coil overs which address 2 issues, the weeping damper and the ride height!

So whats to do then? As I said it starts on the button, drives nicely, the obvious thing is cosmetics. The paint is shot so its either a respray or a wrap. But thats down the line. Untitled by craig allan, on Flickr

Amazing beasts. Electroluminescent backlighting? Recently found '94-5 preludes have a dedicated module alongside cluster to convert DC to AC just for that.. Guess brightness switch more likely?

Interesting. Never seen one before and that dash looks awesome. Love the intriguing technology the 90s gave us

This should be interesting. Typical over engineering of that era.

Haha I'm not sure exactly what it is, theres lots of LCD in the dash, and the needles are for of fibre optic lit like Aristos etc. I personally thought it could be the brightness switch, Ive got a spares car like I said so something to swap over.

This should be interesting. Typical over engineering of that era. I don't think its over engineered, I thing its of a time where companies just built the cars they wanted. I cant see personally what its roll was, what job it was supposed to do? And why they built a GT cruiser with a rotary?

Bloody lovely. Japanese oddities are great, the 90’s was a great era for properly unique cars. Following this!

Always had an interest in these - buying a loved car back is great - I bought my Volvo 740 back from the chap I sold it to and ran it for a year. Very lucky to get a second parts car as these are rare and aren't cheap when they come up! Neat car. Best of luck with it.
Paint it yellow!
