a sad loss of someone who was not only a great driver, but he did so much for promoteing WRC and helping bring it to the masses.

it was truly a sad day when it happened,but yesterday was sadder when i heard my first sick Colin McRae joke.needless to say i didnt laugh.in fact the guy got a very serious stare and avoided me the rest of the day.
RIP colin,you will be missed mon ami.

Great driver fantastic to watch on stage We were following the Rally round the country back in early 90's in a van and the overnight stop was in leeds so there we were cooking up a chilli in the back of the van on a camping stove and he wandered past looked in the pot and then said it looked better than the prodrive grub Did I think to ask for his autograph nope - we just laughed and said they don't want you putting on any weight and being slow I've got some great memories of seeing him on and off the stages and I get to keep them till my time is up and for that I thank him
