Colour scheme on a tall vehicle

Tried Goggling, but I think I'm asking the wrong questions....is there a paint scheme or colour that'll make tall vehicle look shorter? And while I've got your attention, what's the best paint for brush painting a vehicle?

Hi, Two tone paintwork, two colours split horizontally along the vehicle.

Yes definitely top and bottom two tone - bottom of window line split or it it’s a high roof line above the top of windows like a high roof camper than in line with top of windows.

The tricky bit is knowing the top colour.

Black is perfect at night and top half disappears but in daylight it is bolder and more apparent than bottom half would be.

I’d say a blue/grey combo matches Britain’s skies the best. Assuming you’re in the U.K.

Hopefully not, somewhere near the Med is the goal.
