It's time to sell the Beetle. This is my wife's car, but I have used it quite a bit too. This has been a good little car for us, mechanically all is well, and it's a fairly tidy example.
It has a long MOT (March), new alternator and recent battery, and was serviced less than six months ago too. Runs, stops and steers well, gearbox is smooth with no issues. I bought it from my sister a couple of years ago. It's done around 108000 miles. I'd drive anywhere in it with total confidence. The 2 litre motor makes for swift progress and it's also pretty frugal for what it is.
It has good spec with full black leather, heated seats, and a nice electrically operated sunroof. It has a good quality factory stereo with a CD changer in the boot, although it could do with new speakers. There is an AC button, but it doesn't appear to do much.
There are a few marks here and there, one or two small dents and scuffs, but overall it's presentable for the age. The interior is good, if not mint, the "soft touch" plastics are suffering from the usual signs of age but it's still a nice place to sit. Rust wise it's very good, only thing I have found is a teeny tiny bit of bubbling on the roof, and it's never been welded or had any MOT advisories for corrosion.
Pictures are from a year ago, but not much has changed, and if you're interested you should come see it in the flesh anyway.
