Hey all, my latest acquisition had these on it from the US, they’re 4x114 and I guess 14x6. There aren’t the usual marks that would suggest Japanese. I fact there are no markings or stamps at all. Any ideas?  |

So after a little googlephoo I found out what they are... Dan Gurneys, google makes it seem like they're most common on air cooled stuff over in the USA

Apparently Jack mcafee started producing the wheels, some of which were factory option on porsches, a little later down the line some copies appeared. Dan gurneys being one, Per Spec Ind being another. the way to tell the difference between these three, jack mcafee wheels the centres are raised...see here:  Dan gurney wheels the valve lines up with the spoke  Per Spec Industries lines up with the window  |
