Hi all
Have just started a conversion on a 2009 Peugeot Boxer 2.2 diesel.
She's a nice straight van but filthy and with some mechanical issues.
She has had replacement injectors but they have not be properly coded and some of the hydraulic tappets are noisy so will need a day or two of mechanical work.
I spent the morning getting the side door open as the catch was jammed. I got it open without doing any damage but the catch itself is beyond help. There's about 4mm of wear in the catch so that even when the door is shut you can pull it off the seal plus it rattles and knocks like crazy when you are driving. A new catch assembly is on the way.
Have also removed the bulkhead and started removing the old ply lining.
Spent a couple off hours fitting the drivers side window. Its in my usual limo tint and is an opener as this is were the kitchen will be.
I have also trial fitted the full width rock and roll bed and its going to be tight getting the units a usefull depth plus it fouls the the wheel well. I should be able to cut out and reshape the wheel well without to much bother though.
I should have he complete by mid July and just for a change this one's not yet pre sold.
Cheers - mike
