Just got back from the Hot Rod Hop and it was absolutely brilliant
This one was free entry but you were asked to donate to the Air Ambulance (god forbid you ever need it) if you enjoyed yourself.
It was stated that Jason Hollamby paid for it and was assisted by his Cannibals car club members and mates
Great site, great turn out and great facilities e.g toilets, showers, security, paramedics.
Three bands on over the weekend and a drum group.
Two marquees one for us oldun's the other for those who prefer dance music.
Traders, food (curry and chips for £3) bar with sensible prices (£3.80 for a pint of lager)
Games on the Saturday were superb entertainment
Probably missed a load of stuff.
Big thank you to the Cannibals but especially Jason, wow what a way to say thank you to the Air Ambulance crews, total respect.
Anyway I just took some crappy pics on my phone but the little ankle biter was pulling my hand lol to give an idea of the cars that turned up but there was probably four times more in attendance and quite a few still in the campsite which seems to be the way nowadays.
