Here we have a Talbot Express camper from 1992. Owned by my partner and I for the past year, we have been all over the UK and as far afield as Paris. It has been a great little camper for us but we are now buying our first house together, so the van has got to be sold to help raise additional funds.
It is in good general condition with 115,000 miles on the clock. Recent pair of tyres on the front and MoT until June 2019, so ready to be enjoyed this summer and beyond!
Has a pop-top roof (great if you are tall like me) and has three gas burners, three-way fridge, plus sink and running water. There is a also a small TV/DVD player that runs on a 12v socket. The van also has a large leisure battery that is charged when the engine is running. This means that you should never run out of electricity – the lights in the van run off the leisure battery, not the engine's battery.
Engine is a 1.9-litre version of the famous Peugeot XUD diesel. It isn't super-fast but will happily cruise at 60-65mph without issue.
All in all this is a lovely little van, one that is very useable/wieldy in daily life compared to larger campers. It will fit into a standard parking space at the supermarket etc, while the side windows make it easy to see what you're doing when overtaking on the motorway. An ideal first camper.
I can be contacted via PM on here or preferably direct email via mg261285AThotmailDOTcom
Thanks,
Matt
