he good stuff:
Saab 9-3 2002 2.0T SE Manual
MOT until May 2019
131000 miles
Manual 5 speed
New Turbo Less than 1000 miles ago
New Oil Cooler Less than 1000 miles ago
Oil change less than 1000 miles ago
Before i get into this, i have owned this car for less than a month. Within that time my work commitments have changed dramatically and i no longer need this car. Due to this short ownership, i only have the Green slip of the V5.
Grey Leather interior in very good condition, no rips or tears
Electric windows
Cruise Control
AC
Heated Seats
CD player/Radio
Etc Etc
Exterior of the car is in very good shape for its age. The paint has a really nice metallic flake too it and the paint quality is excellent, polishes up really nice. There is the odd dink around the car if you go looking, but nothing obvious by any means.
There is a small chip in the windscreen out of drivers eyeline.
The roof works perfectly and is in excellent condition. No rips or fading. The rear window is heated glass too.
I have just given the wheels a quick respray in silver. By no means a professional job but the paint was flaking so i thought best to give them a quick flat and repaint. The wheels could still benefit from a proper refurb at some point.
I have made a couple of minor modifications to the car:
Headlights smoked
Repeaters smoked
Grille sprayed black
Open air cone filter for turbo noises. Car will come with complete Airbox
Overall the car drives really well. I've been using it as a motorway cruiser. Uses no water or oil and is a pleasure.
If you've never owned a saab convertible of this era then i ask you read up on the common "scuttle shake" which is caused by saab/GM's inability to provide suitable braces to the chassis after cutting the roof off. It can be a bit wobbly but you get used to it and can be rectified with an off the shelf 6 point under car brace.
Bad Points:
As previously mentioned, green slip of V5 only.
Clutch bite point is high. Now the car pulls hard with not a hint of clutch slip, thats under boost and under load.
Couple of pixels missing on computer screen
Honestly, this is a lovely car and it will be missed, mostly by my 3 year old son who has taken too it!
