I've been after a little van to help me shift some bits and bobs around and do a couple of trips to the tip. I like these excuses to legitimately buy vehicles I can make a vague excuse for 'needing' So when I stumbled upon this little Citroen C15 I had to have it, just look how awesomely French it is!
I'm putting it up for swaps on here as I'll have run out of use for it very shortly and If I keep it too long I'll turn it into a project as I always do (and I have far too many of them.)
So its a very late model 2004 Citroen C15 Champ van fitted with the XUD 1.9 diesel engine and 5 speed box
MOT till November sometime
65k miles from new
4 newish tyres and a recent clutch and starter motor
Cool looking and eminently useful full length roof rack
All locks work off the same key
Its absolutely charming, like some kind of French dog I suppose
It has had some welding to both sills in the past and they are crusty again but a rough mot worthy repair will not be any hassle. The rear bumper is missing and the mounting points have crusted away. Apart from that its solid in the usual areas, boot floor, suspension mounting points, arches etc.
Starts runs and drives absolutely fine and with all the squeaks rattles and floatiness you expect from a little Citroen. You really could transport eggs across a rutted field with it.
Have some pictures - As she stands, uncleaned in all its honest glory
I'm interested in pretty much anything really.
