**Edit - CAR NOW SOLD**
*Edit....MOT passed 30/07/18 with zero advisories, and valid until 19/08/19**
With huge regret, I am offering my much loved although not long owned black 24v for sale. I've seen one of my bucket list cars for sale, in the right colour, and even my wife thinks we should go for it. I've recently sold my Rover 600, but I need the funds from the Probe to go towards it as well. If it doesn't sell, I'd be happy with that scenario too, as I love this car. I just get itches that need to be scratched.
1997 Ford Probe 2.5 litre 24V
Mileage is 119,996
MOT passed today (30/07/18). Valid until 19/08/2019
Black, with black leather interior.
There are quite a few modifications to the car, such as new shocks and lowering springs, Scorpion stainless cat-back system, cone air filter, under bonnet chrome-blingy stuff, 17" multi spoke wheels with good tyres all round, new discs and pads all round, Goodrich hoses etc. It also has a decent Sony X-plod audio system, and the electric ariel works. As does the aircon, which is ice cold. Which has been nice recently. It also has a US spec GT rear reflector, and two keys.
It has just had a brand new NSR top mount fitted, and a new OSR calliper as well.
Bad points? Well, not many. It does have a slight oil weep. I'd call it a weep rather than a leak. Only happens when warm, and you can smell it through the vents after about 20 minutes. Whilst the car was laid up for a fortnight on my mates ramps recently waiting for the top mount, it didn't lose a drop on his floor. I'm trying to think of other issues, but I don't think I can. Oh, it needs a spare wheel. There isn't much service history with the car either.
Bodywork is fantastic for it's age. No rust, and only a couple of scuffs here and there, and it polishes and waxes up lovely.
A few more pics:
I recently removed the horrible Halfords V6 badges from the rear end and front wings, which really improves the look...
The car is located near Saltburn-By-The-Sea (TS12), and I'll help out in whatever way I can to get the car to it's next owner, so I'll collect from airport, train station etc.
I'm asking £1750 for it once the MOT is sorted.
Contact me via pm on here, or call/text on O7961OO6667.
Thanks for looking
Chris
