Hi Mazda MX3 for sale. 1992 model. MOT til November 2018
Tropic Emerald colour. Mileage is 109k.
Wheels and KLZE engine not included. Will come on standard 15" alloys with good toyo proxes
It has good condition BC coilovers (£700 new) all round. These were from a Subaru Impreza and modified to fit. The fronts were a very close fit and the rears hubs had to be modified slightly.
Handling is fantastic, the 4 wheel steer chassis is really responsive and plantedI had a GT86 before this and it's just as much fun!
Interior is all standard, bit worn in places but it's all there. Good sound system too.
The engine is sweet it currently has the standard 1.8 V6 fitted which runs great. Sounds amazing has a stainless backbox fitted. Around 135bhp standard. Very torquey engine, lovely and smooth. Returns over 30mpg and I've done 180miles to £30 on a long run.
The good thing being a 1992 model means that the car runs OBD1 with no imobillisrer. This is the one to have as the post 93s swapped to OBD2 in the UK which complicates the swap. There is also a 2.5 litre KLZE (£450) engine to go with the car. taken from a Mazda Millenia import. This is a higher compression engine than the UK KLDE found in ford Probe/MX6/ Xedos 6. The KLZE make around 200bhp standard. This is a common straight swap. There is loads of info online to read up on it. There is the ECU from the millenia too but I'm not sure if it will work.
The common procedure is to use the standard K8 ecu + loom and the1.8 ancillaries.
I wanted a CrapEngineering ITB kit and megasquirt for the conversion to make 240+BHP but they are not able to supply at the moment. Mileage was stated as 80k miles when I bought the engine.
The arches are rolled all round, but the tyres have rubbed slightly on the arches.
Very solid car I've owned 3 of these and this is by far the most solid shell I've ever seen.
Everything works, central locking, electric windows and sunroof ABS still works and everything. Electric mirrors not a bad spec on it.
Will make a cool slammed daily or a real weapon if you take it to the track on the new wheels and the KLZE it will be a very quick car.

Bit of a click from the driveshaft on full lock.
I've just bought an AE86 so this has to go unfortunately!
Will make a supreme little track monster.
Price options.
Standard rims No KLZE £850
Add Rotas for £600 add KLZE and ECU for £450
