Has any one any experience of the single din android radios with pop out screens you can get on ebay for around 100 notes?
My daughter is looking for something which has bluetooth and sat nav (ideally mirror google maps from her phone) she can fit in her street ka. It seems the ones by known makes cost as much as the car did!

I'm afraid I've had a couple
First one emitted a small puff of electrical smoke and died when the (previously working and therefore correctly wired) ISO blocks clicked in. Second one lasted 3/4 months BUT was noticeably rubbish.
The bluetooth never worked etc etc. They were for different cars, the single DIN smoke unit i replaced with a 30 quid used Pioneer (still working) and the touch screen one got replaced with a JVC M730BT - best thing I've ever done. The proper Apple Car Play / Android Auto is a revelation! Voice controlled Waze, Google Maps, Spotify, Audiobooks, internet radio etc etc... game changer.
Also because it's Google/Siri voice recognition, it actually recognises voices. I can also confirm it's accent proof.
The issue with the 'screen miŕroring... to be continued got to get on the tube

I've had a couple of XTRONS double din android units with no bother, they're around the £140 mark and do work well with my S8+. Can you get a double din adapter plate for the StreetKa?

Is that its a bit of a faff compared to the full fat Carplay or Android Auto
Single din slide out screens with Carplay start at 4-500ish which is sometimes more than the car! I got my double DIN for 350
I'd go secondhand decent brand or save the pennies for a Carplay/Android auto
Just my two pence:D

I'm currently installing a Joying single din android with 7" screen. Sound quality is very impressive, though it is plumbed into a 22 year old Range Rover with high-line stereo fitted (factory amps etc...).
I do have a couple of niggles that I am working on and the company have been quick to answer emails so happy so far.
