Hello guys as per title, my r129 needs it's insulation replacing so was wondering what is the best glue to use for this job taking in mind that it be lots of heat, or is there any product anyone strongly recommends or has had experience with all help is greatly appricated in advance

You will need to get the right glue from Mercedes .If you need the job to last .But if you have to get some aftermarket i can let you know the type i used on mine it lasted 4 years and still intact .

I used Laggers airosol glue the gays that insulate the steam heating pipework in hospistals, still on there five years later
|

Retro i am on my way out right now but as soon as i get home i will check it out in the garage and then i will post it on here .

Retro the glue came from ALPHA ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS LTD === www.alpha-adhesives.co.uk 01299828626 Only down the road from me at SandyLane Stourport .I never knew this,, a friend up in Sussex sent this to me after i asked on the Mwercedes forum about what he had used to do his w124 .
