	had this focus for years, never really notice it pinking /pinging unless you loaded it up in the wrong gear so expected all of a sudden its pinking between 1-2k , its got decent fuel in it , tried it from differant garages too anything i could be looking at ?

	There is a three piece rubber crankcase breather setup. The pipes perish and split and cause an air leak. Look through the inlet manifold to see them.
