Sort of on the look out for a small (2" ish) rev counter, preferably with some kind of mounting pod. Ideally with a movable red pointer red line. Wired, not cable. As simple looking as possible.
Also, not toooo expensive.

Modern universal is an option, but they tend to look a bit cheap. No name ones can be had from about £15 and certainly look no frills enough. Just not sure i trust them. Not that it matters, I'm only fitting one as my speedo is a bit scatty. Figured id put a tach in, get used to rpm at certain speeds and have a bit more of an idea if the speedo has decided to be optimistic or pessimistic at any given time. I don't really need it to accurately tell me rpm, just be consistant (ish).
