Some people may have noted an obituary for designer Syd Mead. As a designer and concept artist his most famous work is probably Blade Runner, defining a future that we seem to be increasingly living in. Within his body of work you can find some very interesting car designs, stuff that has clearly influenced later concept artists and what we expect the future to look like.
Here are some of his famous and less famous bits of work, one of the greats, sadly gone.
