Stay with me, this is a strange one but it is car related. By 1985 the Dukes of Hazzard was in season 7 and by this point they were saving money and jumping models instead of real cars. Tonight on Youtube a compilation of clips from season 7 popped up and as I had nothing better to do I gave it a watch. Here is where it gets weird. This is a screen grab from one of the model car jumps; How did season 7 of the dukes of Hazzard have a model of the C body roadrunner from season 7 of Roadkill that wouldnt exist until 34 years later? I think I just spotted a glitch in the matrix. Dave

Ok, that is bonkers. Not just the same car, and damage, but the season 7 thing as well. I really didn't need to point that out. That's really quite shocking.

Were seven series of DOH ever made or are they just modern YouTube videos made in honour of the original series?
Or maybe that car has a specific blind spot that led to many drivers pulling out at junctions leading to a T bone in the passenger side door?

I don't think that's the same car.

Not really related to the time travel bit, but Forces TV are repeating some of the original series, not sure which ones, but worth a grin, especially if you’re stuck inside

Maybe it’s sat in the scrap yard since & Roadkill used it all those years later

I don't think that's the same car. It's definitely not the same car. As I said in the original post the Dukes of hazard were jumping models by that season so what your looking at is a model. It's just weird that somebody built something that looks so similar to the road kill car 34 years before it existed.

Isn't it just the general thats a model? Just nearer the camera to equalise the sizes?

Or the Roadkill crew deliberately wrecked the Plymouth to look like the DOH model.

I watched them when I was young, it's been interesting to watch again all the pointless car chases that go round and around the same small car park for no apparent reason.

I don't think they are the exact same car either.
But if they are the same type of car, it makes sense they could slide sideways into a telephone pole the same way...
