Does anyone have any tips on removing MIG welding/grinding spatter from glass? I have a Citizen watch with a mineral glass crystal (face), that has suffered from me rather stupidly wearing it while doing some welding.

I've removed metal from glass using a stanley blade but you will be left with a mark in the glass i'm afraid.

Yes, there's no metal remaining, just a 'crater' in the glass.
I'll probably have to do something similar to what this chap does in this video:

+1 for the stanley blade, not sure if they still do them but companies such as frosts used to do glass polishing kits, obviously won’t fill a crater but might reduce the effect?
