Is it that one off eBay? Looks a honey, £750 is a bit rich for me though. they're not super valuable, the exporters are not so keen on em due to the injection and lack of space for carrying goats compared to the wagon version. I reckon if he put it on without reserve it would make about 450 quid max.
I would hold out for a V6 one, one will turn up eventually, marvellous.

The only turbo one we got over here was the GTD, that's what my dad's got as a daily. 50mpg and hard as nails!!!

I don't know exactly what the badging said on the two 505 Turbos we raced, maybe 505T? Can't remember, but it was a right rocket in the straightaways. |

Petrol Turbo was a US and French market model only. IMHO the GTi is WAY better than the v6. V6 is a real gas guzzler. 505 Gti is a completely underrated (apart from by Slater) car.
Values are all over the place. We see loads going through the CPUK web site at any price between £350 to £1500, no rhyme or reason to the prices. Estates are worth more (around £750 to £1500) but I'd have the saloon any day.

Since Peugeot left the North American market in the early 90's, there is no dealer support, so prices here are nil for them. Right at Ford Tempo or Geo Metro levels, or below. I recall the car as very heavy, and very hard on fuel. Of course we were flogging it, so that's not real-world use.

(I was very tempted, even got in contact etc) I was interested, just gotta keep the eye's out. Bit of patience and one will come round again. heard they rust fairly badly though... |

Not too bad on the rust (although Slater may disagree). Sunroofs rot out and every sinfgle one wil have rotten suspension mounts where the springs mount into the struts, you can't weld it and pass an MOT and new spares are very hard to find. It's the number one 505 killer

 what do you mean where the spring meets the strut? the spring cups?? mine were fine Id expect to pay around £500 for a decent one and maybe £750 for a minter. I payed 450ish for mine but didnt antisipate doing as much welding! probably payed a bit too much. They rust under the unerseal in most places so you cant relly tell unless you go at it with a pointy hammer you don't relly know. |
