Hi everyone, I was at my mum's looking through some old photos and got obsessed trying to identify this car. The photo is from the early/mid 90s (sorry it's not the best quality). So far, have considered: Bmw 3 series VW scirocco VW golf Tvr of some sort The wheels are obviously mesh type 4 spoke, hence the VW/bmw connection. I can't seem to find anything with the long indicators on the wing. Any thoughts? Just a bit of fun to get your brain working!

My first thought was Maserati Biturbo. But not sure.

Looks a bit merc 500sec with body kit and badly specād wheels
Scrap that, distance front front wheel arch to front door shut line all wrong. Did think biturbo as well though as above post.

My instincts say mid 80s Audi coupe, possibly non arched Quattro

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

If what looks like a chrome trim is really just the light and just because it is so improbable as to be almost probable, I'm going Gartrac G3 / G6...

At first glance it looks German, but the more I look at it, the more I think it could possibly be Japanese. Looks like it should be an easy one to identify, but it isnāt!
Some side profile details from a Lancia Thema fit, but still donāt think itās that.

It's screaming E30 with a body kit to me. I'd go E30 with a Hella body kit.

It does look like an E30 but more likely a Zender bodykit. Also that isn't a long indicator, its a reflection of something in the paint, which looks a lot like BMW Henna Red.

That's either a VW scirocco or an E28 m535i.

Judging by the positioning of what looks like the side repeater I would say that's a Lancia Delta with an aftermarket kit. Difficult to be certain though as the picture quality isn't brilliant.

Thanks for all the replies...the picture quality is poor so it's hard to arrive at a definite answer! Appreciate the efforts.

I'd go E30 with a Hella body kit. The chrome doesn't look quite right for an E30 That was my second thought* and why I didn' type my first thought (E30). *No, had to find a picture with a chrome trimmed E30 which was not easy because google mainly came up with M3s or shadow line e30s, which means all chrome trim was blackened from the works. Many up here concentrate on the questionable side marker: I canĀ“t really see one and if there is one, it can be any side marker, that somebody needed urgently on his car. It wasn't that unusual to add them, when the car came without one.
