Whilst show and motor racing season is well underway it feels like Easter weekend is the first 'big' weekend, with lots of events happening in parallel.
What are you planning for the weekend? Show? Motorsport? Taking advantage of the time off to work on stuff??
I'm planning to head to Wheels Day for the first time. Then the weekend will be spent getting everything ready for a big week for RR next week (Club stickers going in the post, RR Gathering website going live, RRW track going live, short listing paddocks for RRW, updates and improvements for the new posting tool in order make that properly live, and a few other bits and pieces).

Wheelsday on good Friday for me too. I'm not sure if it's as good as it was before you had to prebook and be approved before you could show your car, but it'll hopefully still be worth a look.

I'll be trying to figure out how to check the valve clearances on a Hiace 3RZ-FE without dropping the motor. I may hammer my hands flat or possibly try and grow a tentacle.

There's a Cars and Coffee nearby I'll be taking the boy child to with his pedal car and my Astra, he had a great time at one we went to last week.

I haven't booked the bank holidays off this year so no shows for me, though if my technical thread questions give it away, I'm working on my civic again, after like 2 years of distractions (faffing on other cars)

Depending on the weather I'll either be a) going to the Hubnut meet at the Motorist in Sherburn (wet and/or cold) or b) making my car stupid low (dry and warm).

Forgot about Wheels Day.
May just jump in the car and go.
Or else it is garage time mostly.
Nahhhh.
Not doing Wheels day.
I will regret it.

Finally fitting the new suspension to the Polo and having another look at the brakes. Then hopefully spending some time finishing the welding on the drivers side rear corner in the Beetle.

Do what SWMBO tells me to including fixing the garden fence.
Change the oil on the Boxster-9 litres of it! And give it a quick check over as there is an event the following weekend at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon that a few off Boxa.net are attending.
Do more jobs around the home that SWMBO volunteers me for.
Hopefully get a couple of small jobs on a little project car I have - named by my Grandchildren as Bad-Grandpa, not sure if they mean me or the car. Might appear in the post 2000 thread sometime in the future.
Visit my Mum in North London with Grandkids in tow before Sadique charges me for entering his hallowed turf inside the M25.
Do some more work SWMBO will find for me
Drink some Thatchers Haze

Need to have a good look at the Chevy and see what it needs for it's next MOT (probably quite a bit!) Wasn't going to do it for another 6 months but with lpg still slightly under a £1 a litre, the old girl may be cheaper to use as a run around. We will see!
