I went to the Bicester Heritage Scramble a couple of weekends back with rmad . Now one might expect more photos from me for that event to have made their way online, however there was a small thing stopping it. I was there on behalf of our friends at Speedhunters. After a bit of late-night writing (in between doing my day job and this here forum and organising the Weekender) it has finally made it online! www.speedhunters.com/2022/05/beauties-beasts-bicester-heritages-spring-scramble/Here are a couple of photos from it: Enjoy the actual feature with real words by me.

That Space Cruiser thingy again. It has "mine!" written all over it, but I don't know why!?
There's only wifey and doglegs and me, we'll never go camping, I do all our shopping on foot, it won't go or handle particularly well, why oh why do I want one so much?

Probably easiest if all retro type show organisers just give Rob the trophies now save the hassle of carting them there.

The Toyota Century... a truly odd beast, or behemoth.. yet massively alluring in the same breath🙂

Love Bicester. They waved my rust bucket Fairlady into fancypants parking (despite it being a 1990, not pre 1990 as required) and then let a late comer F40 park up in peasant parking with a Boxster and a Fiesta for company. An F40!
It was ok though, they had another four in the main show, all casual like.
Between that and Retro Ride's own Goodwood event, it's the closest I'm getting to feeling respectable like a 'collector' rather than just 'a bloke with too many naff cars'.

Great article 😁 I would very much like to take that Starion home, there's something quite brutish about them and the first generation of GTO/3000GT that followed, that really appeals to me.
Also made me realise it's been a good while since I got out to one of the scrambles, I must go again sometime!
