Misfit looks great from the rear 3/4, from the front I'm not quite sure yet. Overall though it's a fantastic car with loads of cool touches. Well outside of the box.

What's the legal situation with running open-wheelers in the UK? I doubt you'd get away with anything like that Anglia here in New Zealand.

Taken from today's entry list at the Nostalgia Nationals, because it appears I didn't get a pic myself last time I was there. 😃

What's the legal situation with running open-wheelers in the UK? I doubt you'd get away with anything like that Anglia here in New Zealand. It's frowned upon, as I remember it the law says something along the lines of you need to cover the wheels to prevent them from kicking up spray, so if it ain't rainin... I've seen loads of hotrod type cars running fenderless, I guess most policeman probably just look the other way, especially if you're not driving like an idiot. Of course, occasionally you'll come across the wrong policeman who's having a bad day, and he might tell you off, and maybe fine you. But I don't know anyone that's had any problems yet.

Having had a ‘67, 1200 Super, 105E around 1987/8/9 and loving it then, I have a significant soft spot for them. I remember this at Wheels day a few years ago and loving his direction and details.

Ooh, this leaves me confused.. the front end makes me think Reliant Regal more than Anglia(and represents an improvement on the previous Ford Pop front end in other thread). As per the Max Power thread, the work on display looks of high quality, but it just doesn't work for me and I'm not sure why... perhaps I'm simply not visionary enough🤷🏽♂️

Like that French bloke that does similarly stupid stuff to exotica. Or Murano glass.
