Anyone know about this bright blue Viscount?

There's a 1967 Vauxhall Viscount on Car & Classic:

One owner, and there's nothing horrible lurking in the MOT history. It was featured in Classic and Sportscar in 2017, about a year before the last MOT.
But it seems very cheap, admittedly it's not tip-top, and it makes me wonder if something has gone terribly wrong with it.
Is it a well-known car on the scene? I've seen a few photos of it at other shows, just wondered if anyone knows if there's more to it.

Sensible price for one of those. The Powerglide ones are THIRSTY if that matters to you. There isn't much to go wrong with these. Go look, go see....

I need to do the sums (what James May calls 'man maths')!
It just seems very cheap compared to any other one that I've seen over the last few years. The only one on eBay at the moment is twice as much.

Used to see that quite regularly near work. Oldish guy with a quiff and big sideburns used to float about in it. Can’t remember when I last saw him though, maybe a year or two ago, might even be before lockdown. Must be the same car if it’s for sale in Cheam.

Jonny69 I've seen a pic on Flickr that suggests it's lived around Twickenham, does that sound about right?
Good news if it was a daily, though, even if it was three years ago.

Yeah, Twickenham would be about right. Chap at work reckons it’s the same car too. Towbar is the giveaway. I can’t tell you any more about it unfortunately, only that I used to see it floating about regularly.

Had one in the 90s. Cool looker, blinged up Cresta. Electric windows and power steering. Had 2 speed powerglide transmission, i managed to blow up the transmission so that it became a one speed, and sold the car cheap.
