Ok, now this will probably be a complete marmite type thread, so lets admire the 'creativity' that used to be retro bodykits that you think are cool :-) Here's my contribution, I really do like this kit - no idea who made it, and sorry for the pic but it was the only one I could (be 4rsed) to find  Wider rear wheels and I would rock this :-) Let's see your weird and wonderfuls! I know the Japanese had some mad van bodykits that looked more like a batmobile than a van

I used to like the KAT body kits (except the mini ones, never liked mini body kits!) and IIRC some RGA bits and pieces?
...but that beetle? Not sure there's ever been a point in my life I could have even thought that was a good looker!

Actually, there was a time in my life I'd have gone for a Roadhog front on a mini... ...probably not now, though. I'm being rapidly priced out of the mini market anyway, so no sleep lost

Very questionable Irmscher style kits, wasn’t a great fan but now think its 80’s cool. I think mainland Europe had more of a love for them

Am I cheating a bit because it is a factory body kit? Maybe, but I don't mind:

As was every option of that era van. Right from the small 308’s to the big uns. All hugely underpowered, noisy (mainly due to half the engine being in the cab under the ‘doghouse’ as we called them) & just generally horrid things. Apart from that, the horrendous rust & sh1t gearbox you’d be fine 😀

There was a pic a while ago of a kit for an E30 BMW, which was a new front, a new rear, and basically made it look like a different car. I really liked that one.

Each to their own I guess. I drove one every day for about 6 years between 8 & 12 hrs depending, worked on literally hundreds of them. You can help yourself to what’s left

A great website to checkout is 1000sel.com, it’s full of 80s excess.

Basically any MK II Scirocco with a body kit looks great to me but this Kerscher Le mans Body Kit should be driven at all times with matching shoulder pads and 80's miami vice pastel shade attire... Particularly love how the rounded bumpers are totally at odds with the angular 'testarossa' sides...

I can't find a picture of it (if anyone can find it, please feel free to add it 👍), but I really like the Mk4 Escort Kersher wide body kit. Would love to see one on a Combi van 😎
