I've been taking a lot of time to focus on the Supra, which since forging the 1JZ has been languishing due to the utter lack of motivation to remove the Jipinese y0 sparkle flake horror paint in the engine bay. 80% of it is now wire-wheeled back to bare metal, but to the detriment of my poor Black and Decker angle grinder, who initially started bleeding grease then all out crunched to death. Funeral is TBC as there will be an autopsy to perform, if only to give my fingers a chance to recover. In further fun developments, the rust free shell I was so pumped about is less the case as I have a lovely big rust spot gathering... ... right under the brake master cylinder. No surprises what's caused that. Cue weld repairs on the car I was glad *at least* didn't need welding.

I like the sounds of that race class in that Speedhunters article, mandating the use of "used" tyres sounds like it could be very much be up to the individual racers' interpretation 😅

A video popped up on the Cortina race car I posted on last week's thread. Looks fast.

They all seem familiar but I'm not 100% where from. The lad driving rallies a MK2 Escort too he stuck it on its roof a few weeks ago.

This is excellent. Apparently Toyota Hiace rally cars are a thing lol.

I can get as much 22mm plastic/fibreglass coated board as I want, the catch is it only comes in 20ftx8ft boards, so needs a fair bit of processing just to be movable by one person. To quote a certain Richard Rawlings:
