Hey Folks! Another week, another weekly chat, your place for stuff that may not warrant a full thread, or stuff that is just going on right now that you want to share. Super late as the return to work went about as well as expected. Still ploughing through display applications for Weekender. Also still packing stickers and letters for Club RR. Looking forward to Wheels Day at the end of the week Previous Thread: forum.retro-rides.org/thread/224460/chat-thread-got-week-off

This has made it to the front page of german wikipedia yesterday as a random article: Is it a car? Is it schoolbus? Is it a train? It's a galopping goose!

What even is this week!? Been crazy.
Managed to get 90% of the Club RR stuff packed, ran out of stamps for the last few, will resolve that with another trip to the post office.
In the mean time, enjoy:

Last friday this martial monstrosity came to an autobahn rest stop for truck drivers in the middle of germany: A huge group of truck drivers from different eastern european countries had gathered there and were on strike, because their polish boss refused to pay them for almost two months - and that is just the climax of what he treats them like. So he ordered the help of some "detective" and former EU-politician from poland, who runs his own tv channel and often poses in documentaries "solving problems". This guy sent that armoured car and some vans with about twenty men to handle that problem. Those men, a lot of other truck drivers of the same carrier company among them, who were taken from their own trucks in germany, should steal the strikers trucks and bring them back to poland. German police and justice took care of them.
