So my car [Peugeot 207 1.6hdi] has been going very reliably in the whole time I have had it [about 2 years now]
Starts perfectly, every time.
But last week, I drove around to the local shop, no probs. But when I came to drive back home it wouldnt start, just clicking.
So I walks back home, got my work van and brought my battery booster pack to the car, thinking the battery might have gone duff. It was no different with jump pack on.
I return back to the car later with a couple of family members, a little push and it starts fine, so got it home.
Battery checks out ok, so I just went ahead and bought a new starter.
Got the car to my mates garage, he has changed the starter but its still just clicking on key turn.
Starter fuse was green with fur, cleaned that off and the click is better, stronger but still no start.
It will start no problem if the terminals are bridged.
Where can be checked from here?
