Hey Folks! Another week, another weekly chat, your place for stuff that may not warrant a full thread, or stuff that is just going on right now that you want to share. Today I have/had a migraine/tension headache, so a bit slow this end. The number one thing I want to do today is get the updated theme live... and to be honest I'm just going to push the button after this. It fixes a number of issue that have been hanging around, doesn't fix some others but puts them further up the queue, and when I've updated the ad people it will get rid of the bottom sticky advert appearing on the wrong screen sizes which is of maximum annoyance to a number of people I'm sure. I'll start a thread for what I've changed when it is live. Still more to build on, every time I do some more testing I find some more things to add to the list. Next up is changing the display stuff at different screen sizes more effectively, I've noticed at some device sizes it is displaying the full profile box in a thread, when it should be the mobile style name at the top with minimal info. Car wise ... nothing doing at the moment, still late updating the Datsun thread with photos of some of the metalwork repairs being done. Oh and it is SEMA week, which as most people know will get me all excited for something, let's see what catches our eye this year... How are things with all ya'll ?? Its cold, its wet, and I'm drowning in work. On the other hand I got a bonus from work from all the work I am drowning in. The Rover continues to bed itself in slowly. It feels like a "practical classic" - hmm thats a catchy phrase, maybe someone could use that for a forum or one of those paper thingies if people still read them. I find myself largely not that excited about it though. A possible opportunity has turned up for one of my bucket list cars, I shall investigate that, but something really has to give if I were to go there. The powder coater who was doing some bits for the Humber got flooded out in the bad weather so there is a delay there which is delaying the final reassembly of the Hawk but I'm not that fussed as I suspect I won't really want to use it in the winter weather as its all freshly painted and so on. I drove the little Fiesta for the first time in ages and really enjoyed it. Progress is happening on the '75 LTD, which really needs its own thread now I guess. The next car into bodyshop is the '71 Galaxie and I have a customs letter here which is for the VAT and duty on a bunch of parts I bought for it. I got these from a place called CTC Auto Ranch in Texas and they were super helpful www.ctcautoranch.comThe Morris Minor went to the local* garage a while ago to have a couple of jobs done which needed more hands than I had available and that still isn't back because of a huge rush in MOT tests and so on, apparently. Dez is still cracking on with the Wolseley but the V62 application has gone into the DVLA slow lane and I don't anticpate having the registration back from that until Decemeber.

Drove the Princess on the actual public highway today for the first time in forever. That put me in a good mood. Seems fine, no better or worse than it usually is, which is just as well since it's now my daily again.

Enjoying dailying my XJ40 - although I've had to get a demister pad in there as I'm having no luck with the heating and the weather's turning. Other than that it's been brilliant!
Currently researching the best way of cleaning and rebuilding injectors so I can start putting together the Stage 3 mods on the CA18 in the Capri.
Garage is coming on - managed to find a pretty unused carpet so I've put that down. Should help with condensation over winter, plus I can work on the Capri in more comfort and if i need to weld or anything I can roll it up.
Broke down in the T2. Ran out of fuel and blocked a jet I think - so I need to remove the carb and try and clean it out. I've bought a camp bed/bench from Rusty Lee's so need to wire brush the floor and paint it.
Managed to convince my mum in law to allow me to use her garage so cleared it out, 3 tip runs! It's going to be the new home for the MX5 but as I've sorned it and it's not insured now it's presenting a bit of a challenge to get it there!

Said goodbye to the T4 this morning. Had many ace adventures all over Europe in it but corona times and standing for two and a bit years, the cost of registering here, and then finding a few crusty holes meant it was time to say goodbye. It's either going to be completely dismantled or it's off to Africa. I'll never know.

The most exciting machine they could have sent for a simple breakdown recovery, almost worth the several hours wait. Not a serious issue, just one I couldn't fix roadside because I didn't have the one part I needed. At least I had breakdown cover, I'm grateful for that.
