I used to use an older Apollo HVLP spraygun - an early 1990s version, similar to this one: www.ebay.com.my/itm/354513581458. It was pretty effective, though back then I was only spraying cellulose with it, in a domestic garage, so my results weren't as 'pro' as they could have been in a better environment; then again, my standards/expectations have been upped somewhat, having worked in my brother's bodyshop spraying 2-pack with a decent compressor, proper equipment, extractor booth and lighting. I would say for occasional use and with some practice, the Apollo kit is probably fine, but take great care if spraying 2-pack. |
