I popped a lazy ask, onto the Gumtree ad.. not for a moment expecting a 'bite' 😯 Weeks pass and suddenly, today, "Yes, It's still available" 🤪 AUDI ridealong 6V >>> £20!! I shot down to Darlington and nabbed it, seems they were a bit wrong footed = bought for Gdaughter and she loved the sounds + head/taillights BUT took an absolute $hit when it 'shot off' 🙀. My Gdaughter is made of Sterner Stuff 🤣🤣 OVIMOR    |

I'm modding it *slightly 😉
I will fit 'wheelie castors' at the motor end of the body = Mam can wheel it about the kitchen, like a wheelie bin.
Heavy to manhandle = Easy is Best ✔️♥️

Got the 'wheelie bars' fitted... GR8 = just tip it back and wheel it like a sack barrow 👍🥂 Battery (knackered, par for...) was small >> 6V 12Ah going in 😎 OVIMOR       |

Good purchase - bought a Beetle-shaped one of these for my boy on the cheap and added a 2nd 6v battery to up the power to 12 as it definitely needed it...so far the motor hasn't popped. I've actually got a 3rd one to up it to 18v but it just wheel spins and will kill the motor in no time.
Whole genre of YouTube devoted to modding these - often for £££ more than the original price

The car has the original 6V plug in, NOT Smart = keeps cooking it until you switch off 😱. Worthy insurance, surely, to go SMART ✔️ I will heat shrink the original charge cable/plug onto the new Brick 😉 OVIMOR  |

The battery is in.... Clamped with some extra dense foam! Digi dash indicates 6+V & lights working OK. SMART charger coming Saturday 👍 The rug-rat is gonna love this ♥️ OVIMOR      |

My SMART charger arrived, with croc connectors. Snipetty Snipp ... 😯 Checked the polarity on the modded connector and .... All Done ✔️ After 4hr the Red light turned Green.. 👍 OVIMOR   |

Rug Rat is 3 1/2, a year or two yet for finessing oppo-lock 😁.
