An art car is just a car modified by someone who knows more about art than they do about cars, thus (apparently) excusing how stupid the result looks.

I don't think they actually got the artist to race prep / modify and campaign a BMW M1... lol

Every time I see that copper bimmer, I think about how good the idea is and how much it has been ruined by tipping stuff over it to make it age quicker...
If all the verdegris was spilling backwards off the wheelarches, leading edges et cetera then it would be fantastic.

apart from the chemicals tipped over it, thats great. stance,wheels....its just gorgeous. If the whole car was painted properly in the coppey bronze colour where the sunlight hits the front of the wing next to the grill, it would be perfect
