Ive just come back to work to find that all the fuel lines underneath the works vans have been cut to get the fuel out of the tanks!!!!!
stupid pillocks didnt even bother checking to see if the fuel caps were locked (which they werent).
total to date about £150 in fuel (4 vans) and a day lost fixing new pipes in.......two pipes on my bosses 'new' car too.
suffice to say I am a rather peed off today.....
police gave me a crime number. no doubt Ill get a leaflet in the post to help me come to terms with being a 'victim' of crime.

That sounds beyond the realms of "chav" intelligence tbh.
They'd just have bricked your windows and spat on the seats

Course the scrotes are to blame, but demonstrates part of the problem of the over high pricing of this daily used fuel. bet ya well pee'd off.

Checking takes too long (and prints). It's easier for them just to slash the pipes Personally I'd check if there's any local 'caravan trails', but proof's impossible.

neighbour came home last night, suzuki alto - hoofed passenger door skin in and smashed the drivers dropglass - nothing nicked (stock radio cassette) - just mindless twunts grrrrr! - kev ps - she's the neighbour that doesn't somplain about my cars in the street, so I taped up he window and swept the glass out, if it'd been the 'other' neighbour she could have gone and whistled!

Be glad it wasn't mk2 golfs (or any other cars with plastic tanks!), they'd have just stuck a screwdriver or knife in & you'd be forking out for a whole tank! traveller barstewards!!

Sounds like something that could happen to any of us vans being easy target of course as they are likely to be full, hi capacity, and high. Anaother good reason for lowering on the private cars then, and never 'filling to top'.

Drain your pez tank every night and refill it with Fanta, Mr Muscle, cat pi$$ or whatevAr. That will teach 'em!
Take the cans of pez into the house to stop anyone nicking it like.

I've had petrol nicked from my Volvo. Didn't have a locking cap and someone just syphoned it. I never have more than a tenner in my tank anyway... not as a security measure, just because I'm skint.

I had the lines done on my Golf GTi - thankfully they didn't do the tank! Still cost an arm to sort, plus they didn't get a drop cos of the anti-syphon valve in the tank.
The garage reckon it *is* the chavs for their little Scoot-ays. Twunts.

I reckon I've lost £500-£700 worth of petrol over the last three years. Flap ripped open or off completely, locking caps smashed off. Suffolk Constabulary couldn't give a toss, and Suffolk County Council and the local borough council won't let residents put up CCTV. I even know who it is that usually steals it, but it's hard to prove ownership of a liquid you can purchase anywhere. Of course most times the cops could fingerprint my car, but noooo, it's not the best use of resources. Well, losing hundreds of quids worth of fuel is a waste of my f***ing resources. That is all. I feel a bit better now. ;D [Edit: Quick tip for putting some scum off nicking your fuel - fit an alarm, with a switch behind the filler flap - when they lever it open, alarm goes off. Worked on my old Sapphire! I wanted to fit a taser-like thing but figuresd sparks and fuel weren't the best option. Funniest option, maybe!]
