Was the Jag one of the old European Motorsport ones?
If so, I used to sponsor one of their XJ6's a few years back.

Good to meet you Mat. And thanks to Rmad for coming along as a passenger in the Sierra. I had lots of laps then turbo failure which was misdiagnosed by a Cosworth "expert" (never trust an "expert" unless you know they really are an expert. This one wasn't). Took everything apart, reassembled it in time for 3.40 and got lots of fast laps in before the 4.00pm finish. Turbo problem is the wastegate shaft, which will need to be modified soon so it doesn't happen again. My new brakes, what I installed myself, worked very well even under major duress. The car (faster than a Focus RS but not as quick as a Lambo Gallardo): Charlie

I think I may try to paint the car white before I compete in it. Halfords white rattle cans to the ready!

'Twas a great day, good to meet you Mat! Many thanks to Charlie for the ride and the invite! A great selection of stuff and well worth a visit if you're a driver, a passenger or just fancy a nose about!

Great work there with the camera Mat, and looks like a fun day was had by all, even if things did break!
Charlie - go get those white spray cans! ;D "Lots of fast laps" in twenty minutes - sounds like a successful afternoon!

I hope that gallardo had its doors taken off by some proper sh1tbox out on the track ;D probably not though He was telling me that he thought his Lambo was a bit of a dog cos it is so heavy (1700kgs). It was still fast. At the end of the day he got to drive his mates 600hp Porsche 911 turbo which he said scared him shitless. The white GT3 was the best serious car there I think. The Lambo is surch a posermobile. It's not designed for the track. Charlie
