Right even though I love the Saab wheels on the Sierra I have been gagging to get some proper wide wheels to fill out the rear arches. You know a bit of poke and stretch. Some time ago I managed to get a pair of 16"x7j wellers that I planned to get banded to 9J then reverse fit to the rear as they have a next to 0 offset. Not my wellers but they are 16" ones and you get the idea..... I was then going to get a pair of 16" or 15" wellers to stick on the front, however I have found it difficult to find a pair of big wellers for the front. So after a bit of brewing I thought about sticking the wellers on the back as originally planned but stick some mega skinny focus space savers on the front....... .....they are only a tenner a peice off ebay and I think it would be a bit of a laugh to run chunkies on the back and skinnies on the front, sorta dragster style ;D Am I sick or do you think it would work?

I think it will look 10x more rubbish than the saab wheels look cool.
But give it a go and prove me wrong.
I recon spacesavers all round and drop it onto the floor might work though.

For a tenner a wheel it's worth a go isnt it?

I reckon the handling would be a little funny to say the least, and the novelty of having a 50mph top speed in case your tyres explode would soon wear off! Stick with the hunt for wide steels, or get some 15" bugeye scorpio steels banded to 9j, it'll look dope I tell thee!
In other news I saw your cars twin move the other day! It's gained some alloys too, I've also heard rumour that it's a 4x4, which I've yet to investigate. Great colour AND a 4 B! Mmmm!

that's where my thinking takes me, 2 skinny spacesavers for the front of my ruby, 2 banded out to 7 or 8 x 15" for the back - yeah! 40 quid for 4 spacesavers, 40 to band out the back 2 - 80 quid rims sorted!

I think the wide/skinny combo would be naff, but banding 4 space savers would be savage!

don't do it!
that tenner per wheel could be spent going towards some wellers for the front, which is really what you want!
