Gotta shift some cars. So..up comes the buick.
1979 buick regal turbo project car.
Bought by us a year ago (and 2 house moves) to build as a lolo. We paid £285 for it as a non-runner. Since then it has had £240 spent on a new crank, main shells, big end shells, $80 on a high-volume oil-pump, £14 on an oil filter and £20 on spark plugs. The engine is back in the car,but was bolted back in and everything connected back up just so we could move it. Before lashing out on the engine parts I had thought about being sacreligous and putting a transit diesel in. It is completely original and shows 35k on the clock. It needs- rear bumper- the old one was about 95% rust so it came off before the car was towed to the new house, the doors need welding as they have sagged on the hinges, there is rust around the opera windows and the drivers (left) side door latch, and on the a-pillar. For some reason the boot is super clean and even has the original space saver in it?!
